Mustang Media Group – Creative Director | March 2025 - June 2026
In Cal Poly’s fully integrated, student-run media organization. Lead and mentor a team of 10 editorial designers, directing daily production and long-term creative development through critiques, trainings, and art direction. Oversee visual identity across print, web, social, and The Peak magazine, maintaining consistency while evolving the brand’s editorial voice. Translate reporting into cohesive visual storytelling systems in collaboration with editors and section leads. Established cross-functional workflows that improved collaboration and efficiency between editorial and design teams. Direct design across multiple publishing cycles, ensuring high-quality execution under tight deadlines.
Apple Ads New York City – Design Intern | June 2025 - September 2025
Worked with the Apple Ads Creative team. Redesigned a user-facing web page from concept to final presentation for senior marketing leadership. Led end-to-end design process including research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and presentation. Presented final work to VP of Marketing, articulating design decisions and user impact. Collaborated across interdisciplinary teams, gaining exposure to marketing strategy and product thinking. Built proficiency in Keynote, Sketch, After Effects, and Principle.
Mustang News – Senior Editorial Designer | January 2024 - June 2025
Designed weekly editorial illustrations, graphics, and layouts for monthly print publications. Strengthened publication consistency through advanced use of InDesign systems (styles, grids, alignment). Contributed to award-winning newspaper recognized by the California College Media Association.
Quilly – Design Intern | June 2024 - January 2025
Redesigned company website across desktop and mobile, improving usability and visual consistency. Designed early-stage app experiences with a focus on UI/UX problem solving. Helped establish foundational design systems and standards for a growing startup.
